How it Works

Match Grade Apparel donates $1 of every shirt sold directly to a charity who supports military causes. Every quarter, we choose a new 501(c)(3) charity partner to receive the donation. We have the highest standards when choosing our charity partners and choose to partner with organizations who give most, if not all, of the donated funds directly to the cause.  We believe in complete financial transparency and require that of our charity partners, as well.

$1 of each product sold from July 1, 2016 - September 30, 2016 was donated directly to Project Healing Waters. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing program provides basic fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying and rod building classes, along with clinics participants ranging from beginners who have never fished before, to those with prior fly fishing and tying experience who are adapting their skills to their new abilities. All fly fishing and tying equipment is provided to the participants at no cost. Fishing trips, both one day and multi-day, are also provided free of charge to participants.
PHWFF is unique in that the volunteers are teaching classes on an on-going, long term basis. It is much more than a one day fishing trip. For many participants, particularly disabled veterans, the socialization and camaraderie of the classes are just as important as the fishing outings, and provide them a new activity.

Cpl Chad E Oligshlaeger Foundation for the Study of PTSD$1 of each product sold from April 1, 2016 - June 30, 2016 was donated directly to the Cpl Chad E. Oligschlaeger Foundation for the Study of PTSD. The mission of their foundation is to make a positive difference in the lives of our troops suffering from the stress, adversity and trauma encountered while serving our country. By raising public awareness for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), their goal is to raise and provide funding for counseling and support groups, to support research into the causes of, and effective treatments for PTSD, to find temporary housing for our veterans who have returned and are returning from war, to advocate and lobby on behalf of the PTSD community for change in drug protocol in the military, and to maintain a website for access to help resources, articles and educational information about PTSD.
